As reported on Sunday (read story - Jadakiss Busted), Jadakiss was arrested early Saturday morning in upstate New York on gun and drug charges. The Hustla’ posted a $5,000 bond yesterday afternoon and jetted directly to Hot 97 where he told Angie Martinez that he was OUTSIDE of the car when police rolled up - it was his homies that were the hoodlums. “I should have been home sleeping, getting ready to do the ‘VH1 Hip-Hop Honors’ with Styles P. Instead, I was in the ‘hood, being a knucklehead,” he said.

Jadakiss returns to court October 20.

I guess the public domain rights are up on this piece of tape released by NYPD this week - the late rapper Big Pun apparently kept security cameras running in his living room which tends to work against you when you beat your wife and she decides to press charges on your foolish azz - we’re sorry that you’re dead and all - but this makes you an instant punk - and what’s up with his homies just standing around watching???

We like Ruben - he seems like a good guy, so we’re going to forgo all the obvious jokes - in fact, Ruben’s weight got to be no laughing matter at all a few months ago when he was fast approaching 400+ pounds! His family and friends held an intervention and he agreed to check into a clinic (Duke Weight Management Center) where doctors encouraged him to cut out meat from his diet.

We’re happy to report that his new diet worked and Ruben has already shed over 100 pounds - Ruben Studdard’s new album drops October 17, called “The Return“.
