Snoop Dogg Snagged Again!

Snoop Mugg

Got-Dam! This dude can’t stay out of the back of a patrol car! This time it looks serious!

Last night, after performing on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Snoop was stopped outside of the studio on Bobe Hope Drive and served a search warrant (as part of an ongoing investigation - read story) - it was all good - until police discovered Snoop’s SECRET COMPARTMENT in his vehicle in which a gun, marijuana and COCAINE were found.

He is expected to make the $30,000 bail out by this morning.

Tracey Morgan Arrested for DWI

tracey morgan

30 Rock star, Tracey Morgan is facing up to a year behind bars after being pulled over early Tuesday morning by NYC police while swerving his Cadillac Escalade on the Henry Hudson Parkway.

Tracey turned down a $1000 fine, five days of community service, a D.U.I. program and no jail time in exchange for a guilty plea - most likely because the admission of guilt would have violated his probation in California - where he was pulled over for yet another DWI earlier this year.

Tracey is due back in court on January 4.

Memo to Rappers - Find Another Word That Rhymes With Trigger

Jesse Jackson

Black leaders on Monday challenged the entertainment industry, including rappers, to stop use of the racial slur that Michael Richards uttered in his tirade.

The Rev. Jesse Jackson and others said they will meet with TV networks, film companies and musicians to discuss the “n-word.”

“We want to give our ancestors a present,” Jackson said at a news conference. “Dignity over degradation.”

Jackson also asked the public not to buy a DVD box set of the seventh season of the TV show “Seinfeld” that was released last week.

Richards, who played the wacky neighbor Kramer on “Seinfeld,” triggered outrage with a November 17 racial rant against two black men when he was heckled during a stand-up comedy routine at the Laugh Factory nightclub in West Hollywood. A patron recorded the outburst with a video camera phone.

Richards has made several apologies, including one Sunday on Jackson’s syndicated radio program, in which he has said he is not a racist and was motivated by anger.

At the press conference, comedian Paul Mooney said he has used the “n-word” numerous times during stand-up performances but will no longer do so after watching Richards’ rant.

“He’s my Dr. Phil,” the black comedian said. “He’s cured me.”

Asked about free-speech issues, Jackson said the word is “unprotected.”

U.S. Rep. Maxine Waters, D-California, charged that only situations such as the Richards incident turn mainstream media attention to issues involving the black community.

“This is not simply about whether or not the black community forgives or forgets, this is about understanding that this is pervasive, that this happens in all of our institutions, one way or the other,” Waters said.

O.J. - “I Had To Join The Jackals”

OJ

O.J. Simpson laughed off suggestions that he might not have gotten paid by News Corp. for his book and the television special that recently got nixed, but he says he’s blown it all already. The New York Daily News reports that Simpson made around $660,000 for his “efforts,” an amount that was revealed by News Corp. so that, according to a News Corp. rep, the families of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman can pursue them. But looks like it’s too late — O.J. says he’s already spent all the money on “bills,” and he’s not apologetic. “I’ve been pimped for 12 years. Everyone’s made money on me,” he said yesterday. “It’s all blood money and, unfortunately, I had to join the jackals.”
