Bobby Brown Near Homeless - Sues Whitney

Bobby Brown sues whitney

From TMZ:

Don’t be cruel! Bobby Brown filed a lawsuit against ex-wife Whitney Houston to change the terms of custody of their teen daughter, Bobbi Kristina.

In court documents filed in Orange County yesterday, Brown explains that he was just too screwed up after the breakup to properly handle a custody battle. “After Whitney and I separated, I had nowhere to go and very little money to live on. I was, for all intents and purposes, homeless.” That’s why he failed to respond to Whitney’s petition for custody in time, and why she was ultimately deemed the primary parent.

In Brown’s court filings yesterday, he begged the courts to reconsider, saying that, “I believe I have a wonderful relationship with my daughter Bobbi Kris — a relationship that I would like to see strengthen and grow.” That’s his prerogative!

50 Cent Unloading Mansion

50 cent

The 52-room mansion that rapper 50 Cent has called home for more than three years, an estate once owned by boxer Mike Tyson, is up for sale.

The rap artist (real name: Curtis James Jackson III) bought the 48,000-plus-square-foot house in September 2003 for $4.1 million.

Since buying the mansion, 50 Cent has reportedly spent up to $6 million renovating the house, including adding a helicopter pad.

Curt Clemens, owner of Century 21 Clemens & Sons in Hartford, told the Hartford Courant Wednesday that he toured the house a few months ago after being contacted by representatives of the rapper who said he wanted to sell the property.

Clemens, who was the listing agent on the house when it was owned by Tyson, said that he was notified a few weeks ago that another real estate agent would be handling the sale.

“I was surprised it hadn’t come on the market because we were expecting it,” Clemens said. “He’s put a lot into it, and it’s all very tasteful, except the stripper poles.”

Michael Jordan Files For Divorce

Michael Jordan

Michael Jordan is all smiles at a Knicks game last weekend - he must be looking forward to his dating future.

Michael Jordan and his wife, Juanita, filed for divorce Friday after 17 years of marriage.

“Michael and Juanita Jordan mutually and amicably decided to end their 17 year marriage,” the couple said in a statement issued through their lawyers. “A judgment for dissolution of their marriage was entered today. There will be no further statements.”

Juanita Jordan previously filed for divorce in January 2002, but withdrew her petition a month later when the couple announced they were attempting a reconciliation.

During her last divorce petition, Jordan said attempts to reconcile their marriage had failed and future ones “would be impractical and not in the best interests of the family.”

The couple met at a Chicago restaurant during his second season with the Bulls and were married Sept. 2, 1989, in Las Vegas. They have three children: Jeffrey, Marcus and Jasmine.

The 43-year-old Jordan, a part-owner of the Charlotte Bobcats, led the Bulls to six NBA titles and was a five-time league MVP. He lives in Highland Park, Ill.
