A friend sent me this e-mail and this is the first I heard
of you both
but for what I thought I knew about interviewing
the two of you get togather before the show and you
ask about the things you would like to say and she say
thing that she’s feels comfortable about saying
but what do I know I am a high school drop out that
started many thing and finished nothing but the maybe
25 five woman I dated in my life this far
The reason that I felt to drop this comment Is when
the young lady said she papered poems and for what I think
about poems you must be careful the things you express
people are listening. I papered many poems but this one
poem.
“DO WE REALLY KNOW THE FACTS OF LIFE”
Are we really living not knowing the facts of life
what makes us talk so strongly against the whites and turn
to be so much alike
doing the things they do to each other when we no it only
bring distress
we chitter chatter yackety-yack about all these thing being
affect but not knowing who will be the victim of the next
black attack black
but no one what’s to take the blame
are we just to blind to see when we stand up for our
right we’ll soon be under assassin sight
for me to do for the rest of my life would be awonder
of raising a life
a son of mine would be dynamite
cause I’ll show hem the way to fight
I’ll say son I can’t get knowlledge from them that’s
in the ground
but what I have learn is for you to know so look
and listen to what I show and tell for you must know
who’s under someone’s spell how to deal with each
individual with out going to or through hell
This poem was papered in the year of 1975 my son
was bone in 1983
a realy hard nose boy
strong at the age of 4 he could drop kick a football
and when he ran from me I’ll try to get him to keep his
balance by slapping one feet in to the other so he would
trip and he get up laughing
and running I’ll do the same
and in no time he learn to make that hop to get one of
his feet down even if his legs almost rap around each other
I couldn’t go nowhere with out him if he couldn’t go he
knew how to cry and cry and cry
I when back to school for my GED at Washington

I was taking English from UDC Public Specking
instructor
One day we was talking and I told her I paper poems
not long after she call me at home and ask could I be in
the public specking contest
I said what do I say
she ask could I read some of my poems and she want
“Do We Really Know The Facts Of Life”
I said ok
she told me It starts 8:00 clock that next day and
it was about 9:00 clock that night
she said the girl just call and inform her that she had an
emergency
I never stood in front of more then 10 people at one time
to say anything
It was at the Howard Universitys Blackburn Center I came in
number 7
it was omly 7 of us from the surrounding collages in the
Washington DC area
I put nothing in it I didn’t feel it
anyway my son started acting feminine after that
how do a 5 to 6 year boy start acting that way at that age
It took may year to find out that
I had no control over nothing
In the Bible He says his name is Jehovah
what I need to know is what in the Bible
My son will be 24 in October 19 2007 and he’s a
man now
that’s a piece of me and I wanted to tell it
and if anyone got down to this part
you may not see what you do now

But Syracuse does have a criminal justice program, and New York may not remember because she prolly only went for like a week….i get sick of people who go to a school and act like their an evpert and no all the universitys majors (most offer hundreds) Please, a lot of people don’t know that east asian languages and cultures is a real major offered at my university and people act like cause its not their major, its not really there, its a small major, but still…..
